Terms of Sale

  1. These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") apply to all purchases made from WhimNest (WJ Mystique Sdn. Bhd.). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
  2. All orders are subject to acceptance by the Company. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if necessary, including but not limited to inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or other unforeseen issues.

Shipping Services and Processing Time

  1. We offer complimentary shipping within Malaysia. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2 business days.
  2. Standard domestic shipping generally takes 3-5 business days for instock items.
  3. Upon shipment, you will receive a tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery.
  4. It is crucial to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the provided shipping address, as we cannot be held responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses due to customer error. Please double-check your shipping details before finalising your order.
  5. Please be aware that the shipping cost does not cover sales tax and import tax or any other duties that may be applicable. These additional charges will be borne by the customer.
  6. While we strive to ensure timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather conditions, customs delays, or other disruptions may affect delivery times. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such cases. If your package is significantly delayed or you encounter issues with delivery, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
  7. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, please take photographs of the damage(s) and contact us immediately. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and arrange for a replacement if necessary.
  8. If your package is lost in transit, please notify us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
  9. Please refer to our Return Policy for information on returning or exchanging items. Shipping costs for returns may be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Return / Replacement Policy

Please take note that each piece of boatwood furniture is handcrafted and unique. Due to the use of reclaimed materials, variations in colour, texture, and markings are natural and should be expected. These variations are not considered defects but rather add to the charm and character of the furniture.

  1. We stand by the quality of our boatwood furniture. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange for a replacement or repair. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
  2. All items are eligible for a return within 30 days, provided that the delivered products differ from the details, photos, and descriptions provided at the time of purchase.
  3. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

  5. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
  6. We will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item if it is due to damage or a defect. For other returns, the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Pre-Order Terms

  1. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that you are purchasing furniture that is not yet available for immediate delivery. Estimated delivery times are 5 - 6 weeks, details will be provided at the time of purchase, but they are subject to change.
  2. Payment: A deposit is required to secure your preorder. The remaining balance must be paid before the item is shipped. Payment details and deadlines will be communicated to you upon placing your order.
  3. Cancellation and Refunds: Pre-orders can be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. After 7 days, cancellations will not be accepted, and deposits will be forfeited. Refunds for deposits will be issued only in the event that we are unable to fulfil your order.

‘Rent Today, Own Tomorrow’ Instalment Plan Terms

Instalment plan is available upon request, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The instalment plan is available for purchases with a minimum spending of RM 3000.
  2. Up to 70% of the quoted price can be financed through the instalment plan.
  3. The instalment period ranges from 1 to 5 years.
  4. The warranty will last for the entire duration of the instalment period for the purchased items.
  5. Customers interested in the instalment plan must contact us to submit a request. Thereafter, a member from our team will review the application and provide further instructions.
  6. Payments must be made monthly as per the agreed schedule.
  7. Late payments may incur additional charges and could affect your eligibility for future instalment plans.
  8. Interest rates and any applicable fees will be communicated during the approval process.
  9. The total cost of the purchase, including interest, will be outlined in the instalment agreement.
  10. The instalment period includes the warranty for the items purchased. The warranty period is valid throughout the instalment duration and covers any defects or issues as per our standard warranty policy.
  11. In the event of a default on payments, we reserve the right to take necessary actions, including but not limited to repossession of the items and legal proceedings.

Warranty Policy

Our furniture is crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products, offering the following warranty policy to ensure customer satisfaction:

  1. Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
  2. The warranty period is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  3. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  4. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, alterations, or damage caused by external factors (e.g., accidents, improper care, or extreme environmental conditions).
  5. Variations in colour, grain, or texture are natural characteristics of reclaimed materials and are not considered defects.
  6. Damage resulting from improper assembly or disassembly, exposure to harsh chemicals, or unauthorised repairs is not covered.

  8. Our team will assess the claim and determine the appropriate course of action, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund.
  9. Any transportation costs related to warranty claims, such as shipping the item to us for repair, may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.
  10. Our liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchased item under this warranty.
  11. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our furniture.
  12. Whimnest’s decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials, shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Whimnest’s sole discretion.
Please note that for custom or special orders, additional terms may apply. These will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of purchase.
